Google's Picasa is a free tool for helping you find, edit and share digital pictures. The software automatically locates all the pictures on your PC and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with helpful folder names.

Picasa also offers one-click fixes and powerful effects for tweaking your pictures to look better as well as features for sharing your pictures with friends and family – Picasa helps you email or print photos, create photo CDs, instantly share images via Hello, and even post pictures on your own blog.
