Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition (or just Firefox Portable) is a fully functional package of Firefox v1.x optimized for use on a USB key drive. The now official MozDev project has added some specially-selected optimizations to the portable version that make it perform faster and extend the life of your USB key, and has also added a specialized launcher that will allow most of your favorite extensions to work as you switch computers.
Portable Firefox and Portable Thunderbird will also work from CD-RW drives (in packet mode), ZIP drives, external hard drives, some MP3 players, flash RAM cards, and more.
