With the recent changes in U.S. regulations regarding cryptography, the evaluation release of SecureCRT is now freely available worldwide (formerly, U.S. law restricted the download and use of SecureCRT to the United States). But in order to use SecureCRT's SSH protocol support you will need to have access to an SSH server.
Choosing SecureCRT over the standard CRT client makes sense if you need the highest level of security for your telnet activities, but with a price tag that is more than twice that of CRT, SecureCRT may not the best option for most users.
