Mail Explorer
The Good and Bad of Integration with Explorer

The Good and Bad of Integration with Explorer

Mail Explorer has enough features to make it competitive with most second-tier mail clients, but its real downfall lies in the manner that its underlying premise is applied. If all of its features and tools were available from within the Windows Explorer (perhaps via a menu in the file bar), Mail Explorer would be more enjoyable and easier to use.

Unfortunately, not all of its capabilities can be carried out within the Windows Explorer environment -- creating, sending, and checking for mail and similar critical tasks can only be performed within the Mail Explorer interface. Viewing messages, sorting messages, and managing mail folders, on the other hand, are all tasks that can only be completed by Windows Explorer.
