Mail Explorer
Introduction
Forrest Stroud

Mail Explorer is based on a solid premise — utilize the features and tools already built into the Windows 9x/NT Explorer in order to enhance sending, receiving, and organizing e-mail. By interfacing your mailing tasks with Explorer, Mail Explorer allows you to make use of Windows Explorer utilities like quick find, message sorting, file compression, advanced searching, and powerful organization capabilities.

The Mail Explorer client adds additional features like address book management (including a helpful auto-add feature), basic filtering (for automatically sorting new mail into designated folders), quick conversion to and from Unix Pine and Netscape Mail, Multiple Document Interface (MDI) (for viewing several messages at the same time), and background message polling and spooling.
