What's New in Service Pack 2
The second service pack for Office XP includes a variety of security enhancements and stability and performance improvements for Office XP that have been released since the initial service pack became available. Some of the fixes included with SP-2 have been previously released as separate updates. This service pack combines these fixes into one integrated package, and it includes a number of other changes designed to improve the reliability and performance of Office XP programs.
Note: The initial service pack (SP-1) needs to be installed before SP-2 can be installed.
