Administration Tools and Additional Features
Configuration and administration tools in ftpNetDrive include a FTP Site wizard for creating new FTP sites, a Site Import wizard for importing existing FTP Sites from either WS-FTP (v6.x) or FTP Explorer (v1.1), a Site Manager wizard for managing your existing base of FTP sites, and a Map Network Drive wizard for mapping FTP sites to network drive letters.
Additional ftpNetDrive features include directory caching for allowing you to browse an FTP site without being connected to it at the time, passive mode support, the ability to resolve symbolic links, proxy/firewall support (supported firewall types include Raptor, WinGate, WinProxy, CheckPoint, and a variety of proxy servers), support for numerous host types (including Unix, WinNT, VMS, VM, NetWare, OS/2, WFTPD, War FTP Daemon AppleShare, and more), and the ability to send FTP initialization commands. Both anonymous and private login sites are accessible using ftpNetDrive.
