HTML NotePad is Windows Notepad on an HTML steroid boost. This tiny (160 KB) package packs a punch but does so at a rather expensive price ($45). While lacking some of the more essential features in text editors like a spelling checker, customizable toolbars, Wizards, macros, and Web previewing, HTML Notepad makes up for its missing features with a very efficient editor.
HTML NotePad supports a large number of HTML tags including most of the Netscape 3.0 and Internet Explorer 3.0 tags, but unfortunately, only files under 32 KB can be edited -- a severe limitation in today's Web Development environment.
