In this role, the $30 HyperCam expands upon the capabilities of its sibling, HyperSnap, by allowing you to capture sound and moving images as well as still images (although HyperSnap definitely outdoes HyperCam in the still image department). HyperCam will capture cursor movements, menu selections, animated icons and graphics, pop-up windows, Web tours, and anything else that happens to be on your desktop screen.
The captured movies are editable with any third-party AVI editor and can also be easily imported into any standard animated GIF tool like Ulead's GIF Animator in order to create Web-ready animated GIFs. In addition to its use on the Web for animated GIFs and AVI videos, HyperCam can also be used to help create multimedia presentations, software tutorials, demonstrations, and CD-ROM multimedia content.
