Critical Improvements in Recent Releases
A variety of new features and critical improvements in installation and configuration have helped make recent releases of Pegasus Mail one of the best in its class at getting new users up and running with e-mail quickly and painlessly. Numerous enhancements to the user interface have helped to make Pegasus Mail much more pleasing to the eye as well as much easier to work with for inexperienced users.
New features in recent releases include full IMAP4 support, LDAP services support, MAPI support, APOP authentication protocol support, system traybar support with an animated 'Pegasus' icon that flaps its wings when you have new mail, alarm sound options for incoming mail, the ability to review and/or delete queued mail, improved support for multiple users and single users with multiple mail accounts, and an entirely revised editor/message reader (now with HTML support).
