Pegasus Mail
A Freeware Fan Favorite
Forrest Stroud

A Freeware Fan Favorite

Since its introduction, Pegasus Mail's extensive array of features have helped the mail client gain a loyal following. Standard features include a spelling checker, advanced filtering controls, support for multiple signatures, color options for highlighting and emphasizing messages and their respective priority level, and an open encryptor interface for seamless integration of encryption and digital signing modules.

The impressive list of features continues with a quick installation program, tooltips, detailed on-line help documentation, multilingual support (English, French, German, Swedish, and Danish versions), and a polling feature that allows Pegasus to run in the background while mail is being sent and/or received. The mail client also allows users to edit messages and put them into a queue while not connected to the 'net -- effectively enabling Pegasus Mail to act as an offline mail client.
