Odigo is an exciting new chat client that offers an attractive interface to go along with a powerful set of features. As with most other instant messengers, Odigo is available for download as freeware with the only stipulation being that you first register with an Odigo server before talking with other users. With its graphically appealing interface, powerful user search tool, and excellent interoperability with most other instant messengers, Odigo is an easy recommendation for new and experienced users alike.
The Odigo interface sports five different modes, with the default and most powerful being the People Finder user search engine. Selecting another of the tabs at the top of the Odigo panel will display one of the four remaining primary functions: a Friends List that displays all of your "favorite" buddies, the Odigo Browser (an inline mini-browser), a Popular Pages function that displays a bar graph with the Web sites visited most often by current Odigo users, and a "People in Site" tab that displays information about other users who are visiting the same Odigo Website/chat room as you.
