ArcSoft Photo Fantasy 2.0 Who Do You Want to Be Today? Karl Moore
The goal is simple--to merge your face into a fantasy scene, allowing you to instantly inherit the body of muscle-man Arnie or take on high-ranking presidential roles. And it all occurs within a simple and attractive user interface.
Let's create an example. First off, you need to select a "fantasy". The product ships with over 200 off-the-shelf fantasies, templates onto which you insert your ugly mug.
The fantasies are split into five main sections--role play, hardbodies, sports, time warp and trading cards - and cover everything from sultans of the east to Scottish bag-pipe players, bobbies on patrol to hunky men in skimpy underwear. Coo!
During the second stage you select a photo and use the simple editing tools to size your face in the template "hole". Photos can be in the form of normal image files or acquired from a scanner or digital camera.
The supplied editing tools allow you to zoom in/out, nudge, rotate, match face colour and do other fun stuff to your image.
If one thing surprised me about Photo Fantasy, it was ease-of-use. Even the "simplest" of modern image-humour programs make such face-fitting procedures terribly difficult--but the bright, simple screen layout was a pleasure to use and certainly didn't require any type of instruction...which was lucky 'cause the package doesn't ship with a manual.
However for those not fully furnished in the brains department, online help is available during every step.
