WS_FTP Pro 5.0 features include session profile support for connecting to frequently accessed FTP sites, advanced support for handling timeouts, port numbers, passive file transfers, firewalls, support for more than 50 host file systems, convenient drag-and-drop capabilities to simplify and speed-up your file transfer tasks, auto re-get feature for automatically resuming interrupted transfers, and file maintenance options to help prevent the overwriting of same or newer files and to preserve the original file date and time from the remote host.
WS_FTP Pro 5.0 also features a Windows Explorer like interface. Designed for FTP novices but sophisticated enough for power-users, the Windows Explorer interface now lets you copy and move files within Windows Explorer, using the same reliable "core engine" as the classic WS_FTP interface. Either or both interfaces may be installed and used interchangeably.
