Beam International Splash! Imagemapper Image Mapping Made Easy Simon Coles
With the new millennium everyone is scrambling to fix software for this occasion. The big boys are warring over Web browsers in court and fires are burning all over the US, as if to keep up with the heated battles. Amidst all of these problems a small company called Beam International is emerging with yet another great little program called Splash! ImageMapper 1.0. You might remember them from another product we reviewed several months ago called Splash! 1.0, a WYSIWYG HTML editor. This company of about 120 employees is doing it again, except this time it has a new menu item called ImageMapper 1.0, and it's just as easy to use as the editor. The interface is almost identical to that of its big brother Splash! (but with different menu choices, of course). You'll notice immediately how easy this product is to use. All of the coding is done for you. Just select an image, place the map on the image, save it and you're done!
