WinNc 2000 Professional WinNc is Back, Packing a real Wallop! Douglas Smith
We just love to test Windows tools, mainly because of the enhanced functionality that they provide in manipulating files, folders, and offering total control over the entire spectrum of operating systems. We tested a product about a year ago called WinNc Professional and found it to be an exciting new enhancement for Windows. Well, Dunes MultiMedia didn't let us down with its new release, WinNc 2000, one bit. The new release is packed with new features and enhancements, and redesigned with new icons and capabilities to boot. There used to be Pro and light versions, but that has been abandoned in favor of this new release, that now allows configurable toolbars, extraction of WAV files from MP3 files, shortcut Tabs to specific directories in a panel, FTP, Synchronize, Direct network access, and many more viewable extensions from the internal viewer.
We had mentioned in our earlier review of WinNc Professional that it was very easy to use and a very comfortable-feeling application for those who may have been fortunate enough to use Norton Commander in the good old DOS days. Well, this new release is just as comfortable to use, and fits like a glove right off the bat.
