Now comes the real meat of HotMetal Pro 6.0, the new features! Since version 5.0 there have been some major changes to the program that help separate it from the herd. Below are some new features in Hotmetal Pro 6.0; be aware that these are just the more prominent ones and that there are many enhancements that are under the hood, out of sight.

The improved Asset Manager provides drag-and-drop access to a variety of asset types, including images, multimedia files, applets and scripts.
Includes more tools and pre-built effects, like a dynamic button maker and the Color Chooser.
Users can now drag and drop effects directly from a browser onto an asset page.
HoTMetaL PRO 6.0's new COM interface and advanced scripting capabilities allows developers to deploy custom components that work in any production environment.
Plus the new macro toolbar and macro recorder makes it easier to automate repetitive tasks.
