ArcSoft Ships ShowBiz DVD 2 DVD Authoring and Video Editing in One Eric Grevstad
Mon 10/27/03 -- Halloween will be a little less scary for digital video enthusiasts this year, says ArcSoft Inc. -- that's the retail launch date for ShowBiz DVD 2, a video capturing, editing, and DVD authoring solution that promises to combine the best in DVD and video editing for even novice users to create cool custom DVDs.
The $100 program can capture video from virtually any device; combine it with still images, transition effects, text, and multiple audio tracks; add customizable menus, titles, and chapters; and produce DVDs and VCDs in both NTSC and PAL formats. ShowBiz DVD 2 can also export video to hard disk, DV tape, VHS, or e-mail, with real-time movie or segment previews and automatic or manual scene detection.
Photo slide shows can be assembled and incorporated into any movie, with transition effects between slides or even a customized pan-and-zoom effect for Ken Burns fans.
